yearnings

This quote from C.S. Lewis has been echoing through my head constantly for the past few weeks:

“If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world”

I've been feeling those yearnings for 'other' so strongly lately, realizing that things here on Earth really aren't as they should be. This feeling isn't completely foreign to me, but it's been far more insistent than I can recall it being in the past. I think as I get older and become more aware of the world's brokenness, this aching and these longings will only grow stronger.
