Avril Lavigne has been accused of songwriting plagiarism by both Chantal Kreviazuk and songwriting team The Matrix, among others. She is fighting back like crazy, but when someone with as much integrity and actual songwriting chops as Kreviazuk suggests it, Lavigne loses a great deal of credibility (in my humble opinion). After all, this is the girl who wore a Clash or Ramones t-shirt to an interview and when the interviewer asked if she was fan of the band, she replied that she had no idea who they were and she was wearing because it was "cool"! It's fine to not know who they are, but don't wear the shirt of a respected punk rock pioneer unless you know who they are! She just came off looking really dumb.

a true test for any music snob...have you seen/heard (mostly seen) any of the videos/musical offerings from the Jared Leto Mood Band Project aka "30 Seconds To Mars"...it makes you die inside a little, but the epic videos are pure musical comedy (unintentionally)
