Freezing our tails off
This is my first experience being in -30 C (-18 C plus the wind chill) weather and thus far it has not been the most pleasant experience, mostly because of the wind. The wind chapped my thighs through my jeans because it is so dry, strong, and cold. Caitlin and I have had to use a lot of moisturizer to keep our skin from cracking. THIS is more what I was expecting from Ontario winter and, honestly, though it's cold I figured that it would be a lot worse than it actually is. The Sentra is covered in salt, but continues to roll on and still turns over easily in the cold. I am looking forward to warmer times as it is supposed to reach a balmy -8 C by the end of the week. My sister kindly informed me yesterday that it was 8 C in Victoria yesterday. Thanks Laura...

Ha, ha, I don't feel a bit sorry for you.. in fact I'd even go so far as to say we were all out flying kites yesterday under a blue sky and all of the spring flowers are already up! she says with a knowing grin.

Well, we can beat Victoria's 8C. It was 16C here in Korea yesterday.
