The Longest Yard

My advice on seeing this movie: don't bother. It had some funny parts but absolutely did not live up to all the hype of it being the funniest Adam Sandler movie ever (if you like him). Chris Rock had the best lines of the film and not enough of them. The jokes were boring, cliched and repetitive not to mention almost always crude. I realize that no Adam Sandler film is meant to be high cinema, but this was a big letdown comedy-wise. To check out a great Sandler film, watch "Spanglish" because it was very funny, quirky, well-acted, and he is excellent.
