some great songs about rock and roll

I love rock and roll and thus want to share some of my fave songs about being in a band or about rock and roll itself:

1. Rock and Roll (Led Zeppelin): Sweet riff, sweet vocals, sweet solo, and one of my favourite grooves of all time. Here's to the late John Bonham and his drum tribute to Little Richard! Yeah baby!!

2. Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits): the guitar fills alone are enough to make you love this song (and Mark Knopfler fingerpicks everything!!) but the lyrics are absolutely money! Check the solo at the end!

3. Mr. Jones (Counting Crows): Yes, I know, this song has been OVERPLAYED by radio, MTV, or whatever else, but that does not diminish the fact that it is a heck of a sweet song. "I wanna be Bob Dylan, Mr. Jones wishes he was someone just a little more funky..." What a great line!
