conversation

I recently had a really good conversation with someone very close to me, who I have known my whole life, which helped to erase some of the assumptions I had had about her. It may sound very elementary, but it really taught me the value not just of good communication between people, but also of good conversation because it was through the conversation that I learned so much. I have always been someone who loves to have real and authentic conversation with family/friends and this just illustrates why I value it. I have memories of conversations with certain people that bonded us together in friendship and love. Sometimes these conversations are tied to a certain physical setting (i.e. I have had some good ones sitting out on logs at Durrance Lake on a summer evening) or to an album that was playing while the conversation occurred. It sometimes seems like my life replays as a series of conversations. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to chat with me--you have no idea what a difference it has made in my life.

I bet one of those conversations is NOT with Dickie Peddie after your post last week titled ... "The Renegade Librarian rebuilds the Leafs" ...
