Save Liverpool FC

Liverpool Football club which, along with the Maple Leafs, is my favourite sports franchise is being run into the ground and saddled with debt by its American owners, Tom Hicks (who also owns the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars) and George Gillett (who owns the Montreal Canadiens). Liverpool has one of the most loyal and fanatical fanbases in the world and its supporters are sick and tired of how the club is being run, so there is a group of fans called Share Liverpool FC that is looking to buy the club from Hicks and Gillett! Most of my readers could care less about European football (a.k.a. "soccer"), but I thought this was kind of an interesting story. If you are curious about it, you can read on here. I hope that whatever ends up happening, the club is rescued from Hicks and Gillett because they have been bad news since they took over the club ten months ago. Between the Leafs and LFC, things just aren't going my way sports-wise!
