in support of Cindy Davis...

So, my friend Cindy Davis has just released her album, A Year or More, and I have spent all day listening to it (I believe Caitlin and I spun it 4 or 5 times total today!). The verdict, without any "friend" bias, is that it's excellent: the songs are tight and well-written, it's well produced, and above all it has soul, which to me is the most important thing. If you are in the area, she is playing two CD release shows here in Victoria on January 19 and 20, which are going to be phenomenal (I have seen her play a few times and she is smokin' good).
