I have recently been accused of not updating my blog enough, by my best friend, Andy, who is a knob. Therefore, I thought that I should update you all on what's going on with your favourite Renegade Librarian and his uber-spouse, Caitlin, since our plans have changed drastically over the past couple weeks or so.
We are leaving London in the last week of September to return to the West Coast. Being on Vancouver Island visiting our family and friends made us realize how badly we want to be back there and, due to a variety of factors and incentives, now is the time for us to go. We are going to miss the people we met here very much, but we know in our hearts that BC is our home and where we want to settle down permanently.
Upon returning to Victoria, we will be having a quick turnaround and heading to Europe in the first week of October for our three month backpacking trip, about which we are very excited as we madly plan. Caitlin is the queen of planning, flight booking, and compiling itineraries, among other things. I am beginning to pack the apartment up, acquire boxes, and all that fun stuff associated with moving your life from one locale to another!

Hope this update finds you all well and happy. I think that, considering how busy I have been, I have been pretty darn good about updating my blog, despite Andy's protestations to the contrary!

if your travel plans include switzerland, make sure to swing by its beautiful capital bern. would be great to see you guys again and of course you can stay at my place as long as you want :)
