Here are some things I have learned over the past week:
1. I love my iPod. It's a small inanimate object, but it's like another world into which I can escape when I am stressed out. Nothing like a good song to make you feel better. The past couple days have seen Counting Crows really doing the job for me.
2. I am sick and damn tired of hearing about Harry Potter. If someone else mentions his name again...
3. To get through grad school, you need a good support network--between my family and friends, I am fortunate enough to have one.
4. Facebook applications are stupid. Perhaps the only cool one is the map one. But that's it.
5. I love sleeping. It's happening less and less...
6. I get angry too easily and I must try to work on controlling my temper--99% of it is self-directed anger, but that's not so good either is it?
7. I like libraries. I like their atmosphere, their mission, and the fact that there is so much fascinating information contained in one building. I think it's a good thing that in two and a half weeks I will be a professional librarian.
8. I could live on salsa. Seriously, I can think of few things more tasty than salsa. It's the perfect condiment.
9. Doing resumes and cover letters is about as much fun as being examined by a proctologist.
10. If you can bring the rock, I'm pretty sure I can supply the roll...

1. I have iPod jealousy some days, until I remember that you cannot put audiobooks on them!
2. I have yet to buy Harry Potter...
3. You're welcome. Thanks for returning the favour.
4. Boo Facebook.
5. I'm headed to bed in a few minutes. I refuse to give up sweet, sweet sleep.
6. I have a rotten temper at times too, so I've got nothing to say about this one.
7. I like libraries too. Going to work makes me incredibly happy. Knowing that you helped someone on a shift is a great feeling!
8. Mmmm salsa....and banana chocolate chip muffins.
9. I hear ya on this one. The cover letter is a mighty foe.
10. I'm not sure what you mean here, but I can try and bring the rock in my lack of musical talent kind of way ;)
That was me deleting the first time. Oh typos...
Well this list seems mighty fine to me. I've been telling you to work on your temper for years so i'm not sure how you just realized that this week, but whatever. And salsa? I knew you loved salsa when you devoured a litre of the stuff in 10 minutes on our first trip up to wall beach.
Ah well, I got lots of salsa, rock, and temper inducing banter waiting for you on thw west coast so you get your butt over here you librarian freak!
