the Europe itch...

In ten days I will be a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Master of Library and Information Science program. I thought that everything would change after this, but it really hasn't so much. I am still the exact same person, just with more letters after my name: I still make juvenile jokes, love rock & roll passionately, and enjoy a good beer. What has changed is my desire to flee this country for "the continent" and spend a couple months, with little or no agenda, getting lost in the history and rhythms of the cultures I learned about through my undergraduate degree (in History). I have been pretty responsible my whole life, doing what was expected of me, and now I am ready to throw off the shackles and do something "irresponsible." I will keep y'all posted on how travel plans develop...

Europe's for snooty babies. The real party is at Wall Beach! All the kickin' back and relaxin' and explorin' anyone could want. Come vacation where the real action is!
