I think that it's hilarious how Facebook has totally infiltrated our society and is now EVERYWHERE. I said I would never cave, but in April I did and I have never looked back.
Funnily enough, other people I know who said they wouldn't join have finally caved and are now Facebookin' up a storm (yes, it is now a verb, just so you are all aware!). Almost every good friend of mine is on there, with the exception of a one or two, no names mentioned (ahem, Ontarian Librarian!). I have actually found it to be a very efficient way to keep in touch with friends here in London, back home, and around the world. I have also reconnected with people from my past, most of whom I was very happy to see! I welcome your comments...

i only know 4 people who aren't on it.
You’re just goading me into commenting you bugger. I am appalled by the notion of having “friends” vs. friends. Those who know me well, know that I don’t befriend people with ease, so the whole concept of Facebook just doesn’t align with my friend-compass. The people I love most are the people I talk to most often. I still hang with people from other times and talk to those I want to regularly. I don’t need Facebook to help me keep in touch with people, nor do I need it to perform any sort of social networking that I can’t do via other means. When it comes right down to it, I really just prefer face-to-face conversations or talking on the phone. Facebook and Jess just weren’t meant to be.
I can't find my long-lost acquintance from Grade 2 whose face I can't remember but whose name I'm sure would be familiar...
Poopbook to the rescue!!!
