losing to the Avs
Getting hammered by the lowly Colorado Avalanche was not exactly what I was hoping would come out of tonight for my Leafs, but inconsistency by name is Toronto. My wife is at work right now so she can't even share in my intense displeasure. Plus the Avs are Andy's favourite team and when I talked to him on the phone tonight, I was sure to mention that the Leafs were going to give his team a hidin'! Unfortunately, the boys decided not to show up for the game. Oh the topsy-turvy life of a diehard Leafs fan...

ARRGHH! i can't STAND colorado...
I was nice enough not to email or call and rub it in your face. But since you wrote about it... I'm sad for you... but pumped for the Avs. The win actually helped turn around the team a bit.
Except they just lost to St. Louis! Ahhh, can't catch a break. Beat good teams, lose to bad teams.
And by the way, my favourite team is actually the lowly Bruins who almost beat the league best Sabres last night. I was a Nordiques fan and thus an Avs fan by necessity.
