Having been evicted from the Romance Centre, I now somewhat live out of my car and I am actually enjoying it more than I thought I would. My mattresses and all the stuff I am taking to Ontario are being stored at my best man's parents' place, which has been sweet. Essentially, I keep my sleeping bag, pillows, some clothes, and my toiletries in my car and I either roll out the sleeping bag on Caitlin's parents' guest bed or at the Renton's place on my mattress. Showers and laundry tend to happen at Caitlin's, thanks to her gracious parents.
The element of rootlessness is kind of romantic and the no-rent factor is quite lovely. The other thing that I truly enjoy is not living with roommates. I can go to bed at night without using earplugs, I don't have to clean up after other people's parties (which I have done a number of times), and I get to be ALONE at night if I choose.
Anyway, between my faithful Nissan Sentra and such gracious future in-laws and friends, life is going pretty well considering that I no longer have a permanent home. Being an urban nomad is the life for me!
