the end of the line
It's over for the Leafs. Though they were able to smoke Ottawa 5-1, Tampa Bay beat Carolina with 11 seconds to go in overtime (thanks to Martin St. Louis) and thus eliminated Toronto from playoff contention. I am saddened, but Caitlin isn't because that is more time that I will be spending with her rather than in front of the TV! Let's hope that the Buds clean house this summer and come back with a better team next year to correspond with my move to London. Anyways, Happy Easter to y'all!!

Sorry buddy ... but seeing St. Louis score that break-away goal was the only highlight for what has been a very difficult hockey week for true West Coast Canadians.
It's a sad day when the only thing I can be happy about is seeing the only "unCanadian-Canadian" team (that's the Buds, by the way) go down with a wimper.
Maybe Bert and Tucker will meet on the fairways. What do you think they will say to one another?
