a bad time to be a Leafs fan

Being the butt of constant Leaf jokes, especially by my pastor, has further confirmed that 2006 is a BAD time to be a Leafs fan. My team has fallen like a lead balloon over the last couple months and is now out of a playoff spot. As I sit drinking peppermint tea out of my Leaf's 'jerseys through the ages mug' that Caitlin bought me, a tear comes to my eye for the Buds are 7 points behind the Habs (insult of insults) for the eighth and final playoff spot. Someone or something has got to change and there needs to be a fire lit under their collective asses, and QUICK! And don't blame Pat Quinn because it sure isn't his fault! For now I sit waiting for the trade deadline to see if management is going to make a big move to shake up Sundin & Co. Only time will tell...
