the most grievous of all sins
C.S. Lewis once said, "A proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you're looking down, you can't see something that's above you." This quote has really hit home for me the past couple days. I have felt strongly convicted about my attitude towards certain people and situations and I agree with those who say that Pride is the most terrible of all sins. I have really been blinded my own pride and arrogance, constantly judging other and comparing them to myself (obviously the highest standard of mankind). This is a trap that so many fall into. Yet Pride is so insidious, so sneaky, that you don't often realize its presence until it's too late and it has you in its clutches. My prayer is that God makes me aware of my own pride so that it does not take over my life because far too often I fall victim to it.

There are a few spelling/grammar mistakes in this entry. You may want to read it over and make corrections before you lose some of your credit as a great writer and wonderful grammarist. Let Caitlyn the wonder Editor do it for you if need be.
whoever wrote that comment: ironically, there's a rather grievous spelling error in your own entry- it's CAITLIN! i know it's terribly tempting to slip that Y in, but please, try to control yourself. oh, and by the way, grammarist is not a word. it's grammarian. ;)
